What a year it's been; we are so proud of what the team has achieved and all the more excited to share a tiny bit of what’s to come in 2026…
It was a real pleasure of supporting some awesome local events and initiatives including The Kingsbridge Show which brings together our whole community. More broadly we have been networking within the South West and had some exciting conversations with fellow technology professionals.
There’s been some mammoth projects on both the business and residential sides of IT WORKHOUSE and we only hope to grow and define our project offering further, going into 2026.
We improved cyber security across the board; successfully renewing our Cyber essentials certification at the start of this year, whilst simultaneously working on improvements to our internal security and processes, over and above our certification. For our customers we completed a total of 40 security assessments, sharing our knowledge and expertise and arming business leaders with the information they needed to drive their businesses forward.
Perhaps one of our biggest changes has been our Odoo implementation. At the start of 2025 we were struggling to find an all-in-one solution to manage our helpdesk ticketing system, CRM, stock management and accounts. Then we came across Odoo. After trialling the system rigorously, we knew it was the answer and have since fully onboarded IT WORKHOUSE onto the platform. Operations have streamlined, efficiency is up, and it's been incredible to see the team thrive using Odoo.
The performance results were poignant enough for us to become an Odoo partner, and we have now expanded our service offering to include Odoo implementation (Business Transformation) for our IT partners.
We have also welcomed a new team member; Sam, who is completing an Information Communication Technician apprenticeship with us. Sam has hit the ground running, impressing us with his level of knowledge and dedication to his new position. Welcome Sam!
So what else is coming?
We are already working with several partners to implement Odoo and transform their operations. Business Transformation will continue to expand as a core service; including training, project implementation and strategy.
Residential project planning continues, and we have several super exciting tech renovations, automation overhauls and large-scale Wi-Fi installations for the team to get stuck into for the first part of the year.
Our Tech Team has been pivotal in developing our agile response system to further improve our helpdesk and customer experience. Improvements will be rolled out officially in 2026, and we are looking forward to our customers experiencing our helpdesk pros using our newer slicker system.
A rebrand is very much underway for us, and will go hand in hand with the launch of our new website – keep your eyes on our socials for more updates on this.
