IT WORKHOUSE is an IT support company based at The Old Workhouse on Higher Union Road, Kingsbridge. We look after the computers, Microsoft 365, networks, phones and cyber security for small and medium businesses in the town and across the whole South Hams, including Salcombe, Dartmouth, Totnes, Modbury and Ivybridge.

Spare kit is already here. We keep routers, switches, WiFi access points and laptops on the shelf in Kingsbridge. If your router dies on a Friday afternoon, we swap it that afternoon instead of waiting for a courier that takes two days to reach TQ7.
Most problems are fixed remotely, in minutes. When something does need a visit, we are a few minutes away, not an hour up the A38.
You get a team, not one person. There are five of us. When one engineer is out on a job, someone else picks up the phone.

Helpdesk
Unlimited remote support by phone, email or message. We aim to respond within one business hour, and if it is urgent you call us directly.
Monitoring and updates
Every device is monitored around the clock. Critical Windows and Mac updates go on within 14 days of release, in line with NCSC guidance, with BitDefender protection on every machine.
Microsoft 365
Setup, security, and the starters and leavers so the right people can get to the right files.
Backups
Your data in three places, two formats, one offsite. Encrypted and tested.
Networks and WiFi

Plans and prices
Three monthly plans: Foundation from £120, Resilient from £160 and Fortified from £240, all plus VAT. In your first 60 days we audit your setup and give you a plain list of what needs fixing, then we reassess every year. Full details are on our managed IT page.

Yes. We are based in the town, so when something needs hands on it we are a few minutes away.
We aim to respond within one business hour, and usually faster. For anything urgent, call 01548 898183.
No. There is no fixed term. Our plans run month to month and you can leave with 90 days' notice. We also offer pay as you go support if you would rather not be on a plan.
Yes. We collect the admin logins, licences and documentation from your current provider and take it from there, so you are not left stuck in between.
